First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a brief, individual teaching session from a nurse after a cesarean birth can lower a mother's pain and anxiety before she goes home. About 80 women who had a C-section will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or the extra education. Researchers will measure anxiety and pain levels using questionnaires and a pain scale.
