Simple nursing techniques shown to reduce painful birth injuries

NCT ID NCT07505524

Summary

This study tested a package of nursing care techniques during vaginal birth to see if they could reduce tearing and improve outcomes. It involved 80 first-time mothers, with half receiving the special care bundle and half receiving standard care. The goal was to see if specific, hands-on support during delivery could make recovery easier for new mothers.
