Can a new kind of nursing care make childbirth less scary?
NCT ID NCT07321457
Summary
This study tested whether a special nursing care program, based on Watson's Theory of Human Caring, could reduce fear and improve the overall experience of childbirth. Researchers compared this special care to standard nursing care for 30 women having uncomplicated vaginal births. They measured mothers' fear during labor and their feelings about the birth experience afterward to see which approach worked better.
