Can nurse training shrink the carbon footprint of having a baby?

NCT ID NCT07473219

Summary

This study aims to see if a special training program can help nurses reduce the environmental impact of the care they provide after childbirth. Researchers will first measure the carbon footprint of routine postpartum care, then train 24 nurses and check if their knowledge and reported practices change. The goal is to gather information that could lead to more eco-friendly hospital care for new mothers.
