Can a Nurse's diet advice save hearts after surgery?
NCT ID NCT07172906
Summary
This study aims to see if personalized nutrition education from nurses helps people eat healthier after heart bypass surgery. It will involve 160 recent surgery patients, with half receiving standard care and half getting extra coaching through talks, printed guides, and follow-up calls. The goal is to see if this support leads to better diet choices, improved weight and body measurements, and a higher quality of life over six months.
