Nurses step in to shield patients from steroid dangers
NCT ID NCT04909606
Summary
This study tests whether a special nurse-led program can help prevent serious side effects in people starting long-term steroid treatment. It compares patients who receive the nurse's guidance on prevention (like bone health, vaccines, and diet) to those who get usual care. The goal is to see if the program reduces steroid-related complications and improves quality of life over one year.
