First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a nurse-led prevention program can reduce the burden of side effects in people starting long-term corticosteroid therapy. About 191 adults will either receive the nurse program or standard care. The goal is to see if the program lowers complications like bone loss, infections, and metabolic issues, and improves quality of life.
