Can simple Nurse-Led exercises ease the gasp for hospitalized COPD patients?

NCT ID NCT07484178

Summary

This study aims to see if adding special breathing exercises and chest therapy, led by nurses, helps hospitalized patients who are having a bad flare-up of their chronic lung disease (COPD). Researchers will compare 68 patients who get these extra exercises along with their usual hospital care to patients who only get the usual care. They will check if the exercises improve how short of breath patients feel, their blood oxygen levels, and how well their lungs work.
