First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether extra nursing support could improve daily function, sleep, and emotional well-being in people on long-term dialysis. 220 adults in Egypt were split into two groups: one received structured nurse-led care, the other got usual dialysis care. After 6 months, researchers checked if the special care group had better physical ability, sleep quality, and less distress.
