Summary
This study tested whether having a nurse dedicated to guiding patients through a recovery program (ERAS) helps them follow the plan better after colorectal surgery. About 206 adults having planned major colorectal surgery took part. The goal was to see if a nurse coordinator improves how well patients stick to the recovery steps and their quality of life.
