Can talking it out cure nurse burnout? new study tests group therapy
NCT ID NCT07278219
Summary
This study tested whether a special type of group counseling could help nurses feel less burned out and communicate better with patients. Thirty nurses were split into two groups: one attended six weekly online support sessions, while the other did not. Researchers measured their burnout and communication skills before, right after, and for three months after the sessions to see if the counseling made a lasting difference.
