New pill aims to ease social anxiety in major trial

Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication called NTX-1472 for adults with social anxiety disorder. About 100 participants will take either the drug or a placebo daily for 8 weeks to see if it safely reduces anxiety symptoms and improves daily functioning. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety levels, social avoidance, and overall well-being through clinic visits and questionnaires.
