New pill tested to ease strain on heart and lungs
NCT ID NCT07441278
Summary
This study is testing an oral medication called NS-863 for adults with pulmonary hypertension caused by interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD), a condition where lung scarring makes the heart work harder. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces resistance in the lung's blood vessels and helps people walk farther. About 177 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo for 24 weeks to compare results.
