Brain cell transplant could tame severe epilepsy

Summary
This study tests a one-time injection of special nerve cells (NRTX-1001) into the brain for people with drug-resistant epilepsy. The cells release a calming chemical to reduce seizures. Researchers will check safety and how well it works compared to a sham procedure in 88 adults.
