Summary
This study tests whether a vacuum-assisted wound dressing (negative pressure wound therapy) helps diabetic foot ulcers heal better than standard moist dressings. Sixty adults with chronic foot ulcers will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments, and their wounds will be tracked for three months using a detailed wound assessment tool. The goal is to see if the vacuum approach leads to faster or more complete healing.
