Scientists hunt for hidden clues to personalize cancer radiotherapy

NCT ID NCT07232680

Summary

This study aims to find biological markers that can predict how well patients with nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) respond to radiotherapy and what side effects they might experience. It will follow 500 patients with early to mid-stage NPC who are receiving either proton or photon radiotherapy, along with chemotherapy. Researchers will analyze scans and blood samples over two years to identify patterns linked to survival, cancer control, and treatment safety.
