New scans aim to predict cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07137052
Summary
This study aims to see if two new types of PET/CT scans can help doctors more accurately stage nasopharyngeal cancer and predict how well a patient will respond to immunotherapy before they start treatment. It will involve about 732 adults with newly diagnosed cancer who have not yet received any treatment. The research is observational, meaning it will gather information to improve future care but does not test a new treatment itself.
