Summary
This study tested a new device designed to make collecting stool samples from hospitalized cancer patients with diarrhea easier and faster. The goal was to see if using this bedside device could shorten the time patients spend in isolation and speed up the start of appropriate treatment by getting test results quicker. Researchers enrolled 50 patients to check if the device was safe, easy to use, and effective.
