New glasses aim to halt worsening eyesight in kids
NCT ID NCT06563700
Summary
This study is testing whether new types of spectacle lenses can slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children compared to regular single-vision glasses. About 300 children aged 7-13 with myopia will wear either one of five new lens designs or regular glasses for two years. Researchers will measure changes in their eyesight and eye length to see which lenses work best at controlling myopia progression.
