New glasses aim to halt Kids' worsening eyesight
NCT ID NCT05886348
Summary
This study is testing whether new types of spectacle lenses can safely slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. Over 240 children aged 7-13 will wear either the new test lenses or regular single-vision glasses for three years. Researchers will compare how much the children's eyes lengthen and their prescription changes to see if the new lenses are more effective at controlling myopia.
