New magnesium shield could save smiles after severe bone loss

This study tests a special magnesium membrane (NOVAMag SHIELD) used with bone graft material to support immediate dental implants in people with severe bone defects after tooth extraction. The trial involves 40 adults who need a tooth removed in the front area and have significant bone loss. The goal is to see if this technique helps rebuild bone and supports long-term implant success.
