Doctors map healthy Kids' organs to spot disease sooner
NCT ID NCT06930066
Summary
This study aims to create a 'normal' reference map for how stiff a healthy child's liver and spleen should feel. Researchers will use a painless, non-invasive ultrasound technique called shear wave elastography on 450 healthy children. The goal is to help doctors better detect and diagnose liver and spleen diseases in children by comparing sick patients to these new healthy standards.
