Summary
This study looked at 700 women having planned C-sections to see whether giving norepinephrine or phenylephrine before low blood pressure happens (prophylactic) or only after it occurs (rescue) leads to better newborn health. The main measure was the baby's umbilical cord blood pH. The goal is to find the safest way to manage blood pressure during spinal anesthesia.
