Summary
This study looked at two medications, norepinephrine and ephedrine, to see which one is better at treating low blood pressure that can happen after anesthesia in emergency abdominal surgery. About 100 adult patients were randomly assigned to receive one of the drugs whenever their blood pressure dropped. The goal was to find which drug restores blood pressure more effectively and requires fewer doses.
