First seen Dec 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at 100 ICU patients with circulatory shock who received norepinephrine, a drug that raises blood pressure. Researchers wanted to find if a certain dose of norepinephrine is linked to a higher risk of death within 5 days. They also studied how long patients were on the drug and the total amount given, to create a score that could help doctors know when more drug won't help.
