Summary
This study compared Nordic Walking (using poles) to traditional walking in 28 adults aged 65-80. Over 12 weeks, both groups walked three times a week under a physiotherapist's supervision. Researchers measured muscle strength, balance, fear of falling, and quality of life to see which type of walking offered more benefits for healthy aging.
