Summary

This study looked at whether Nordic Walking (walking with poles) is better than regular walking for improving strength, balance, and quality of life in older adults. 28 people aged 65-80 took part in a 12-week program, doing either Nordic Walking or traditional walking under a physiotherapist's supervision. The researchers measured things like leg and arm strength, walking ability, and fear of falling before and after the program.
