Scientists hunt clues in mystery cancers to unlock targeted treatments
NCT ID NCT07366008
Summary
This study aims to improve care for patients with Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP), where cancer spreads without a clear starting point. Researchers will use advanced molecular testing on tumor samples to try to identify where the cancer likely began, then use that information to guide more personalized treatment choices. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better survival compared to current standard treatments.
