Summary
This study tested an experimental oral drug called NORA520 in 93 women with severe postpartum depression. Participants took the drug or a placebo for 3 days to see if it safely reduces depressive symptoms. The goal is to find a fast-acting, well-tolerated treatment for new mothers suffering from severe depression after childbirth.
