First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new FDA-approved non-opioid painkiller called Journavx against standard opioids for pain after wisdom tooth removal or jaw surgery. The goal is to see if it works just as well without the risk of addiction or serious side effects. About 76 adults aged 18-45 will take part. If successful, it could offer a safer way to manage post-surgery pain.
