Doctors test gentler way to gauge breathing struggle
NCT ID NCT06344234
Summary
This study aims to find simpler, less invasive ways to measure how hard a patient is working to breathe while on a breathing machine. Researchers will compare new, noninvasive measurements against a standard, more invasive method in 60 patients with low oxygen levels. The goal is to see if these new methods are reliable, which could help doctors fine-tune breathing support more comfortably for patients in the future.
