New brush and gel combo tested to save teeth from severe gum disease
NCT ID NCT06684769
Summary
This study is testing a non-surgical treatment for advanced gum disease that affects the roots of back teeth (molars). Researchers are comparing a special oscillating brush coated with a gel that may help tissue regrow against using the same brush without the gel. The goal is to see if adding the gel improves healing and reduces gum inflammation and pocket depth around these teeth over 12 weeks.
