Doctors review: can colon holes heal without the knife?
NCT ID NCT07299864
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if patients who had a tear in their colon caused by a colonoscopy could be safely treated without needing an operation. Researchers reviewed data from 32 adult patients across several hospitals to check survival rates and complications. The goal was to gather information on how well this non-surgical approach works.
