New pill aims to crush surgery pain without opioid addiction

Summary
This study is testing a new non-opioid pain medication called Journavx (suzetrigine) for people having wisdom teeth removal or corrective jaw surgery. It aims to see if this pill can manage post-surgery pain as effectively as opioid painkillers but without the risks of addiction, breathing problems, or other common opioid side effects. The study will enroll 76 healthy adults aged 18-45.
