Scientists seek needle-free way to check embryo health
NCT ID NCT06780605
Summary
This study aimed to improve a non-invasive method for checking embryo chromosomes during IVF treatment. Researchers analyzed genetic material left behind in the liquid where embryos grow, comparing it to results from traditional embryo biopsies. The goal was to understand if testing this leftover material could one day replace the need for taking cell samples from embryos.
