First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a new, non-invasive way to measure blood flow in the legs of people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Researchers compared the new method to standard ultrasound in 29 patients scheduled for a procedure to open blocked leg arteries. The goal was to see if the new technique could reliably measure blood flow without needing invasive procedures.
