Summary

This study is testing if a simple skin sensor can accurately measure carbon dioxide levels in children with serious breathing problems, without needing repeated painful blood draws. Researchers will compare the sensor's readings to results from standard blood tests in 20 children in intensive care. The goal is to see if this non-invasive method is reliable enough for everyday use, especially for children on strong blood pressure medications.
