First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a non-invasive finger device (CareTaker PDA) to see if it can accurately measure blood pressure continuously in children during surgery. 35 children who already needed an arterial line for their care wore the device for 30 minutes. The goal was to compare the device's readings to the standard arterial line measurements.
