NCT ID NCT07432464
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how nomophobia—the fear of being without your phone—relates to anxiety and academic self-confidence in university students who have text neck (neck pain from looking down at screens). Researchers will survey 396 students aged 18-35 who use smartphones at least 3 hours daily. The goal is to understand the mental and social effects of text neck, not just the physical ones, and to identify gaps in current treatment approaches.
