Can soothing sounds silence ICU sleeplessness?
NCT ID NCT07412964
Summary
This study tests two simple, non-drug methods to help intensive care unit (ICU) patients sleep better. Researchers will compare using special calming background noise, creating designated quiet hours, and standard care. They will measure sleep quality in 18 adult ICU patients using a wrist-worn monitor to see which approach works best.
