New study aims to quiet the danger: protecting Farmworkers' hearing

Summary

This study tests a program to help farmworkers reduce their exposure to loud noise and prevent hearing loss. About 200 farmworkers and their supervisors will take part. The program includes a short video, group discussion, and hands-on training on using earplugs or other hearing protection. Participants will wear a small device to measure noise levels before and after the program to see if it helps.
