New drug trial aims to ease debilitating muscle weakness

Summary
This study is testing whether a new medication called NMD670 can help reduce symptoms of myasthenia gravis, a condition that causes muscle weakness. About 84 adults with moderate to severe myasthenia gravis will take either the medication or a placebo pill twice daily for 21 days. Researchers will measure changes in muscle strength, daily function, and quality of life to see if the medication works better than the placebo.
