Scientists search for gum disease clue in Patients' blood
NCT ID NCT06400069
Summary
This study aimed to understand gum disease better by measuring levels of a protein called NLRP6 in the blood of 50 people. It compared people with chronic gum disease to healthy people to see if the protein level was linked to how severe the gum disease was. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to test a new treatment.
