First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study is testing whether two simple blood test results (NLR and PLR) can predict if a child with severe burns will develop a serious lung condition called ARDS. About 60 children aged 1-12 with burns covering 20-40% of their body will be followed for 30 days. The goal is to find a quick, easy way to identify high-risk children early, so doctors can act faster.
