Engineered immune cells take on rare sarcomas in early trial

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new treatment for people with advanced synovial sarcoma or myxoid/round cell liposarcoma. Participants receive donated immune cells (NK cells) that are specially designed to recognize and attack cancer, along with chemotherapy to prepare the body. The main goal is to find a safe dose and monitor side effects in up to 44 patients.
