New shot-based immunotherapy combo tested for advanced lung cancer

Summary
This study tests two different dosing schedules of a subcutaneous (under-the-skin) form of the immunotherapy drug nivolumab, given together with intravenous ipilimumab and chemotherapy. The goal is to find the best dosing regimen for people with previously untreated metastatic or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. About 76 participants will be enrolled, and the study will measure drug levels in the blood as well as safety and side effects.
