First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a machine to help people breathe before an ENT cancer screening procedure could keep their oxygen levels safe for a longer time. Fifty adults scheduled for panendoscopy under general anesthesia took part. The goal was to see if the machine-assisted method gives doctors more time to work without the patient's oxygen dropping too low.
