Global survey reveals how hospitals handle a key breathing aid detail

NCT ID NCT06888375

Summary

This study surveyed over 500 doctors worldwide to understand current practices for adding moisture to the air delivered by non-invasive breathing support machines (NIV). The goal was to identify gaps between what doctors actually do and the best practices suggested by research. The survey asked doctors if they use humidification, what type they use, and their reasons for their choices.
