New condom material put to the test: can it beat latex?

NCT ID NCT06079060

Summary

This study tested a new type of condom made from synthetic nitrile against the standard latex condom. About 300 couples used five of each type to see which one broke or slipped less during sex and which felt more comfortable. The goal was to see if the nitrile condom is a safe and acceptable option for preventing sexually transmitted diseases.
