Caffeine and beet juice: a new cycling power combo?
NCT ID NCT07501806
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking nitrate (found in beets) and caffeine together helps trained male cyclists perform better during a short, intense cycling test. Fifteen cyclists completed four different supplement combinations in a random order. The goal was to see if the combo improves critical power and anaerobic work capacity more than either supplement alone.
